Our Mission

Connecting people to the natural world & cultivating a community of environmental stewards working together to build a greener & healthier planet through advocacy, action & education

Got it, thanks!

CONSERVATION & NATURAL SCIENCE EDUCATION

It's the thread that holds our programming together.

Our on-site farm and gardens provide ample opportunity for sustainable gardening education, while our one-of-a-kind Hopservatory works to conserve dark skies and make astronomy accessible to the general public.

Our robust program in wild lands conservation focuses on education and advocacy for the important values associated with a diversity of ecosystems ranging from sagebrush-steppe to old-growth coastal forests, including the EAST CASCADES NATIVE PLANT HUB partnership with Oregon State University and the National Park Service.
